Ingredients (Serves 2)

  • 2 Jamaican veggie patties (from Branch Patty)

  • 4 cups mixed greens (from David’s Farm or Sunrise Organics)

  • 1 small cucumber, sliced

  • ½ cup cherry tomatoes, halved

  • 1 avocado, sliced

  • Optional: pickled onions or radishes (from Brothers)

Tea-Infused Vinaigrette

  • ¼ cup brewed herbal tea (such as hibiscus-mint or chamomile-citrus from Full of Herbs or Arcana Apothecary)

  • 2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar

  • 1 tsp Bee Green Honey

  • ½ tsp Dijon mustard (optional)

  • ⅓ cup olive oil

  • Salt & pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Warm the patties in the oven or toaster until crisp, then crumble or slice into strips.
  2. Brew the tea vinaigrette: Steep 1 Tbsp tea in ½ cup boiling water for 10 minutes. Let cool and measure out ¼ cup.
  3. Whisk together vinaigrette ingredients until emulsified.
  4. Assemble the salad with greens, veggies, avocado, and patties.
  5. Drizzle generously with vinaigrette and serve!
