Ingredients (Serves 2)

2 Jamaican veggie patties (from Branch Patty)

4 cups mixed greens (from David’s Farm or Sunrise Organics)

1 small cucumber, sliced

½ cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 avocado, sliced
-
Optional: pickled onions or radishes (from Brothers)
Tea-Infused Vinaigrette
-
¼ cup brewed herbal tea (such as hibiscus-mint or chamomile-citrus from Full of Herbs or Arcana Apothecary)

2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
-
1 tsp Bee Green Honey
-
½ tsp Dijon mustard (optional)
-
⅓ cup olive oil
-
Salt & pepper to taste
Directions
- Warm the patties in the oven or toaster until crisp, then crumble or slice into strips.
- Brew the tea vinaigrette: Steep 1 Tbsp tea in ½ cup boiling water for 10 minutes. Let cool and measure out ¼ cup.
- Whisk together vinaigrette ingredients until emulsified.
- Assemble the salad with greens, veggies, avocado, and patties.
- Drizzle generously with vinaigrette and serve!
