A Fresh Take on Self-Care Using Farmers Market Finds

We invite you to look at your farmers market haul through a new lens—not just as nourishment for your body, but for your skin, too. As we celebrate the beauty of spring and the women who nurture so much in our lives, it feels like the perfect moment to bring a little nature into your skincare ritual.

Inspired by a simple parsley face mask we love (like this one), we’re spotlighting a few ways to turn humble herbs into something restorative.

Why Parsley?

Parsley is more than just a garnish—it’s packed with antioxidants, vitamin C, and skin-brightening properties. When blended with a little lemon juice and soothing ingredients like aloe or yogurt, it becomes a gentle clarifier that can help refresh your complexion after long days in the sun or in the garden.

DIY Glow Mask:

Try this easy blend:

  • A handful of fresh parsley
  • 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp plain yogurt or aloe vera gel

Blend together until smooth, apply to clean skin, and leave on for 10 minutes. Rinse with warm water and pat dry.

Always do a patch test first and avoid lemon if your skin is sensitive or you’re going into direct sunlight.

Make It a Moment:

  • Apply your mask while sipping herbal tea or fruit-infused water
  • Light a candle made with beeswax or essential oils
  • Journal in the garden, barefoot if the sun’s warm

Self-care doesn’t need to be complicated—just rooted, seasonal, and a little intentional.
