A Note From Jennifer

February always feels like a steadier moment in the season and a time where I like to step back and look at how the markets are moving; what’s holding strong, what’s shifting, and what we need to pay closer attention to as we head into the year ahead.

Much of what guides our decisions comes through our team, the people on the ground every week who are in constant conversation with our farmers and vendors. They bring me insights about what vendors are experiencing, what challenges are surfacing, and where additional care or clarity is needed. That shared understanding shapes how we steward these markets and plan for their future.

For more than 30 years, our focus has been on maintaining markets that feel consistent, trusted, and supportive; places where small businesses can build something lasting, and where our community can shop with confidence.

I’m deeply grateful for the farmers, vendors, musicians, staff, and guests who make these markets what they are. It’s a collective effort, and it’s one I don’t take lightly.

Thank you for being part of this community and for continuing to show up with us, season after season.

Warmly,
Jennifer
