The best part about running our Farmers Markets is our Garden Grant program!
A portion of the proceeds from each of our Markets goes towards, our Non-Profit Sister Company, Raw Inspiration’s Garden Grant Fund for local elementary schools to sponsor School Gardens, & enhance the children’s knowledge of food – where it comes from, how to cultivate it, & the importance of organic whenever possible.
This September we had the privilege of presenting Rosewood Elementary with a check for $5,000 to expand their School’s Garden. During our presentation our Directors Melissa Farwell & Katie Rogers helped the kids plant & water new seeds, cleared garden beds for new succulents, and helped label all the new plants.
We are so grateful to be an integral part of continuing this wonderful Grant Program and cannot wait to see Rosewood Elementary’s Garden flourish.
