Henrietta the hen, sits on her eggs for 21 days (day and night), barely gets off her nest to drink water, but will do so once in a while during the 21 days until they hatch. She is not away from her nest for long. and is smart enough to know not to let her eggs get cool or cold, lest they turn rotten. She laid 6 eggs and we welcome our latest Chick, not yet named.
