May is a wonderful time of year on the Farm, its when we see so many trees and flowers show off their beautiful spring colors. The trees are leafing out and so many blossoms are emerging in the gardens. This view showcases the vineyard where we start to see the first hints of green in a process called “bud break”.
Dogs have been a part of human life for thousands of years. They are known as man’s best friend for good reason – they give companionship, love, and loyalty like no other animal. Yet, Yona and Willow aren’t just providing emotional support; they are also beneficial to our farm. Providing protection for the rest of the animal by keeping predators away. Their work is a full-time job and they absolutely love it! They have created an amazing bond and belong to our farmstead circle of trust. It’s refreshing to see!
